Q - What size marquee do I need?
A - Have you considered all the information in the below ‘things to ask yourself section ‘. Once we know the answers to these questions we will be able to guide you on the appropriate size.
Q - Do you set up on the day?
A - No, we will always try to put marquees up in the week leading to your event, and take it down during the week after the event.
Q - How long does it take to put up a marquee?
A - This depends on the size and style of marquee. Typically the wedding packages will take the team a day to complete.
Q - Are marquees insured?
A - Yes, please ask us about the details.
Q - Can I decorate the marquee once it has been put up?
A - Yes you can, depending on which style of marquee you have booked. You can hang items or tie items to the framework, but please DO NOT use sellotape or pins to attach items to any part of the marquee.
Q - Can I have candles on tables?
A - Naked flames are not allowed inside the marquee. However you can get very realistic LED candles.
Q - Can I have a fire pit outside the marquee?
A - Your own judgement is needed here and a fire pit should be located a safe distance (at least 20ft) away from the marquee & down-wind, so that sparks do not hit the marquee.
Q - Can I smoke inside the marquee?
A - No. A marquee is classed a temporary building so smoking inside is not permitted.
Before making inquiries ask yourself the following questions.
*How many people do I want accommodate?
*Will my guests be formally seated at tables, or am I going for a more buffet style with occasional tables & chairs?
*Is it seating only (conference) or standing only?
*Am I having a bar or music with a dance area?
*Do I require additional space for a reception area?
*Am I having caterers who will need a catering tent?
